Our married adult couples are divided into two basic age divisions. The younger adult married couples’ director is Denise Pritchett. There are 4 Sunday school small groups that meet in the gym area. Kip and Amanda Akins, Chad and Star Duncan, Phillip and Ellen Cortese, and Aaron and Billie Jean Brister are the table leaders ( teachers) in these 4 groups. They meet at 10:00 a.m. each Sunday. Ordinarily there is a light meal each Sunday, plenty of fellowship, and good Bible study each week. A newly wed class, and a nearly wed class are planned later in 2010 Sunday school year.
Our other median age group meets in Building E on the hill. The teachers of this group are: Carol Moon, and Gary Jeffries (E100) lead the Empty Nesters’ class, Danny Fuller (E104) has a couples class approximately 40 plus years old, Larry Smith (E-102) 40 plus years old , and David Gunter ( approximately 30 plus) years old. These classes provide Bible study, good fellowship, and ministry to the couples of our church. They meet at 10:00a.m. each Sunday.
We do offer two special studies a year for our married couples on Wednesday nights as well. Chris and Denise Pritchett will be teaching a class entitled Making Marriage Work beginning on September 9th. This course is developed by Drs. Les and Leslie Parrott authors of Saving Your Marriage Before it Starts, and Your Time Starved Marriage.The class will begin at 7:00 p.m. each Wednesday night.
