George’s Place
Georges Place is a Biblical Counseling Ministry created to help Gods people live “life to the full”. We believe that people should live whole and complete lives, but sometimes need the help of others to do so. Georges Place was created out of a passion to see people be all God has for them to be.
We use the “one-on-one discipleship approach” that will teach what God’s Word says about every issue and how to overcome and live in victory.
Our primary areas of counseling are marriage, the family, depression and personal spiritual growth. Our goal is to extend hope using the tools God has given us and for you to become adequate to do the work he has called you to do.
Georges Place is named in honor of Dr. George Schuler a man who loved his Lord, his family, and others.
Altar Counselors
We are here to help people understand and walk them through the decisions they have made or are making.
Our main goal is to CARE for them.
We do this by:
Challenging them on what they believe. We want to make sure people fully understand what it means to be saved. We want to help them understand Lordship.
Affirmation is the next step. Once someone fully understands what Christ is asking them to do we want to affirm and give them tools to walk the way Christ is calling them to walk.
Requirements come with salvation. We are first required to be baptized and then to be active members in God’s church (the body).
Enrollment into Sunday School and the Beginnings class should be done at the decision time also. We want to make sure people who are starting their walk with the Lord are equipped to do so.
