Denise Pritchett - Director of Family Ministries
Denise is the Director of Family Ministries at Pleasant Grove Baptist Church. She handles a variety of activities including Food Service Programs, Special Events and Special Activities for the entire congregation. She is the Department Director/Teacher for the young married couples Sunday School Department. Coincidentally she is also married to the Sr. Pastor and together they have two children, Russ (16) and Leslie (13) and are the caregivers for two mentally challenged gentlemen, Ronald and Donald Long. She enjoys cooking, gardening and shopping. She has a BS degree in Recreation Therapy from the State University of West Georgia and worked at both the Carrollton and Dalton Recreation Departments as well as Scottish Rite Children’s Medical Center. She became active in ministry in college but came to understand God’s grace when she accepted him as her Lord and Savior in 1992. She says “My life’s desire is to help God’s people understand their potential through Him. Without Him, there is nothing, with Him, there is EVERYTHING!”
